Gabriella Sorrento Italian Inlaid‎ Wood Music Box Brown Fair Torna a Sorriento

Handcrafted in Sorrento, Italy, by Gabriella, this vintage music box showcases exquisite marquetry with a musical instrument motif on the lid. The polished wood exterior features a warm, burl-like grain and stands on four elegant brass-tone feet. When wound, it plays the classic Italian melody Torna a Sorriento. The interior is lined with plush red velvet, making it an ideal vessel for jewelry or small keepsakes. While it shows some signs of age, including a notable crack on the lid's inlay, it remains a charming piece of Italian craftsmanship.  Visible crack on the top lid inlay and minor surface scuffs. Key is present.  Music box is functional, although the pin needs attention. You have to manually pull it up in order for the music to play.
