Keno Board Card, featuring a large red/orange No. 55 with assorted keno numbers printed across the face. The bottom is clearly marked: WILL & FINCK CO., Dealers in Sporting Goods, 818-820 Market Street, San Francisco, Calif. Will & Finck was an important San Francisco sporting-goods and gambling-equipment dealer, and original gambling material bearing the firms name is actively collected. Potter & Potter has specifically cataloged Will & Finck keno cards dating to approximately 1900. This example measures approximately 3 x 8 1/4, consistent with its prior auction catalog description. The front features a numbered grid with a prominent red/orange 55. The reverse is covered/coated in a dark material. It has not been cleaned or altered. A great original piece of turn-of-the-century American gambling history with crossover appeal to collectors of keno, casino memorabilia, Old West gambling, San Francisco history, playing-card/gambling equipment, and Will & Finck material.
