Melaware MELMEX Made in England Vintage Melamine Butter Dish

This is a vintage butter case from the British brand Melaware MELMEX.
The material is melamine resin. While details are scarce, research suggests it was manufactured between the 1950s and 1970s.

I purchased it at an antique shop about 30 years ago and used it for about 10 years to store small items like accessories.
I never used it as a butter container, but it appears to have been used as one previously, as there are numerous knife marks on the inside bottom.
There are also scuffs and other signs of wear consistent with its age on the exterior, including the top of the cover.
I have taken photos to show the scratches as clearly as possible, so please check the images.
There are no major damages such as cracks, chips, or breaks, and no deep scratches, so overall it is in good condition with a nice sheen.

Dimensions are as follows:
Overall
Width: approx. 20cm
Depth: approx. 12.2cm
Height: approx. 6.5cm
Interior (bottom)
Width: approx. 14cm
Depth: approx. 9cm

If you have any other questions or concerns, or if there are any parts that are difficult to see in the images, please feel free to ask.
As this is a pre-owned vintage item, please consider its specifications and characteristics carefully before making a purchase.
