Khokhloma

Description
Art Style: Khokhloma is a famous Russian wood painting handicraft known for its vivid floral patterns, berry motifs, and distinctive color palette. Color Palette: It relies strictly on a combination of gold, red, and black. The Gold Secret: The metallic gold finish inside and on the pattern is not actually gold paint. Craftsmen apply tin or aluminum powder to the wood, coat it with linseed oil, and bake it in an oven. The heat turns the silver-colored metal into a rich, durable gold lacquer. This set is in excellent condition!
